Rolex watches that will discontinue this year

While most of the attention each year is focused on the new models introduced by the watchmaker, it’s just as fascinating to see which products have reached their end of the line and ceased production.
We’ve already covered the latest releases we’ve seen at W&W, so here’s a look at the list of watches from Rolex that have made it into the history books.
Don’t worry; this isn’t the entire OP line that has disappeared. However, these are a few of the most popular dial colors in various sizes.
For those still looking, the biggest disappointment is the Tiffany Dial 41mm demise. The model number 124300 has a distinctive light blue color. 124300, with its unique light blue face, was introduced in 2020 as one of many new Stella Oyster Perpetual replica watches and became an instant hit. A year later, when Patek Philippe launched their Tiffany Nautilus 5711/1A-018 to mark the 170th anniversary of the world-famous jeweler, it became, for lack of a better word, wildly popular. With only a very limited number of editions, the chances of even core collectors getting their hands on one were slim to non-existent, leading many to turn to replica Rolex models.
Demand for the Tiffany OP is only likely to increase, so if you’ve managed to get one, be happy. If not, start saving. But that’s not the only version that gave way this year. We’ve also lost the yellow and coral red dials of the 31mm, 36mm, and 41mm models. Thus, only the largest size of green remains in the wonderful, brilliant collection launched a few years ago, Tiffany only 36 mm and 31 mm, and pink only 36 mm.
Clone rolex has finally perfected its famous fluted bezel with platinum’s king of precious metals. Previously, the brand only used gold for their fluted bezels, including their flagship, the platinum Day-Date.
However, the bezels on these products are made of the same metal as the rest of the case and bracelet, with the result that the smooth-bezel versions have been retired. Why they couldn’t keep both styles is not clear unless they realized that splitting production between the two styles and depleting the supply of both.
All in all, 20 new Presidents debuted this year with fluted 36mm and 40mm bezels (and another eight with jeweled bezels), leaving no smooth bezels in any metal.
